Help Save Troubled LGBTQ Youth - Matching Donation Offer

Most of this is copied from the JustUsBoys.com web site. Please note: This is a gay porn and forum site.

The JustUsBoys website recently made headlines when Rutgers University student, Tyler Clementi, posted on the website’s message boards asking for advice in the final hours leading up to his tragic suicide…

The outpouring from the public regarding the kind of role a gay community plays in helping to avert isolation of gay youth was not lost on the owner of JustUsBoys who wanted to find a way to do more than provide a safe place to talk. Twelve years ago today, on October 12, 1998, Matthew Shepard left the Fireside Lounge in Laramie, Wyoming with two men who plotted to intentionally target and rob a gay man. Matthew was beaten, robbed, tied to a fence and left to die…

Since Matthew’s senseless death, countless more young gay men and women have been the victims of violent crime and harassment simply because they were different. Many hate crimes go unreported, and the bullying and harassment doesn’t stop. JustUsBoys provides a community and forum where young gay and questioning men can talk about their issues, fears, and day-to-day experiences living in a world that often lets vulnerable citizens slip through the cracks…

JustUsBoys is seeking to raise funds and awareness for the Matthew Shepard Foundation, an organization created by Matthew’s family to raise awareness and promote human dignity for everyone by engaging school, corporations and individuals. Our goal at JUB is to raise $10,000 for the Matthew Shepard Foundation, then match those donations with a corporate donation of another $10,000.
Please join our pledge drive at www.justusboys.com/forum/announcement.php?f=6&a=85 and please remember to put “JustUsBoys.com” in the comments box for us to track. We will match all donations received between now and November 30, 2010 up to $10,000.00.

Plush Animal Lover's Day is October 28

That's what the Internet tells me, so I'm spreading the word. I hope my sweeties will want to pose for some new photos in observance of their day.

My first ebook!

I’m delighted to announce that fiction I wrote now resides with talented authors in the Free Gay Ebooks section of the GLBT Bookshelf. The total ebook package is the result of the efforts of Mel Keegan, gifted author and driving force behind the Bookshelf, Jade, the skilled artist who created the gorgeous cover, and my friends who gave advice and support for my writing. Thank you, everyone!

The story is a short piece written for a contest – no, I didn't win. The primary requirement was the story had to be funny. This excerpt from my novel-length work in progress contains light BDSM and sex between three men. When you visit this link, scroll down to “The Name Game”.

Somewhat unrelated to this - my new web site is up. http://dilokeith.wordpress.com/ The focus is BDSM, but it includes links to writing tips and other information.

Still No New Posts?

Thanks for checking to see if there's something new here. I've been busy - either writing fiction or emailing my wonderful, talented friend Darla. She occasionally uses some of my material - what a compliment! If I post the links, that could serve as a post here. I'll put that on my project list. For now, I'll give you her blog pages:

Darla M. Sands

Sand Castles - this one includes erotica and other adult material

I'm working on a story for this competition:
http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/ Do not visit this site if images and discussion of romance between men offends you. Same goes for Sand Castles (sometimes). If, however, you want some male eye candy, click on the Friday Guys link when you get to the Reviews by jessewave site.

Weather Report

This has nothing to do with this blog, but I wanted to test some code for a friend. If you want to know the weather in Osaka, this may be of some interest. Click on the image to visit a page with current weather information. I've been too busy writing to post pictures.

New Page Malfunction

As of today, Blogger does not know how to allow our other pages to receive comments. That function appears to be reserved for this home page. Just FYI.
